Equine Assisted Therapy
Horses in a herd closely resemble the family system. Through our interactions with horses, it can lead to awareness of how we relate to ourselves and others. Each horse’s distinct personality may remind you of someone you know, eliciting emotions and behaviors that can be processed in a safe and non-judgmental way.
New insights, skills and successes developed with the horses transfers to each participant's everyday life. Peaceful Pastures Therapy provides a fun, challenging and unique environment in which human growth, healing and potential may be achieved.
Now offering corporate retreats, teambuilding events, and couples retreats.

Reins of Life
Ages 12-16
Reins of Life is an experiential group for teens struggling to find their place in the world around them.
Utilizing the power of horses, this group will focus on building relational skills, strengthening their sense of self, and building their confidence.

Participants are supported by our team as they learn basic horsemanship skills that can be applied to their lives outside of the barn while learning team building, communication, and advocacy. They will explore what it means to have empathy for themselves and others and have fun connecting with other teens.

Healing Herd
A half-day (10am to 2pm) retreat designed for first responders, healthcare providers and mental health providers to come together and focus on healing themselves. It’s no surprise that those who take care of us typically live in the fight or flight response area of their brain and have a tough time decompressing.
During this intensive workshop, you’ll have an opportunity to relax, release tension and be given the space to process the overwhelming emotions from taking care of the critically ill or injured.
