What is Peaceful Pastures Therapy?
We are a unique mental health practice that is on a 23 acre working horse ranch. Please be aware that there are staff members on the ranch at all times managing the ranch. We do our best to respect your privacy and ensure a quiet and confidential space. Due to multiple forms of therapy being offered, you have the ability to move about as needed during your session whether sitting in the office, in the horse paddocks or just going for a walk with your therapist.

Please note we are NOT a crisis center. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please dial 911 or go to your nearest hospital.
Can I book a consultation?
15 minute consultations are available upon request to discuss services, needs and ensure Peaceful Pastures Therapy is right for you. At that time after speaking with the therapist, if we are able to meet your needs your first session will be scheduled and intake packet emailed to complete initial paperwork.
What do I need for in person appointments?
If you are wanting to engage with horses, for safety we ask that you have the following when on property for your appointment:

CLOSED toe shoes (its outside and does get muddy)

Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses if you need it.

Refillable water bottle. We have water coolers on site to refill your bottle.

Please note that our goal is to meet you where you are at. This list is for awareness and understanding if you are seeking a certain modality, but therapy flows with your needs in each session that aligns with your goals.
Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made with less than a 24-hour notice are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

If you do not show up for your scheduled session without notice, you will be charged the full rate of your session. Insurance does not cover this fee.

All session fees or co-pays will be billed to the card on file on the day of the scheduled session through Ivy Pay. This secure portal comes as a text message to your phone to place a card on file. The therapist cannot see your card information, which is the most secure and HIPAA-compliant way to ensure your privacy. If you prefer an alternative payment method, this must be discussed before your scheduled session.
